Recommendations to Norway in the Security Council
Norway is a member of the UN Security Council from 2001 to 2003, and is President in March. Fourteen Norwegian human rights NGO’s have made a number of recommendations to the Norwegian Foreign Minister, Mr. Jan Petersen, on a number of issues of vital importance to international peace and security. Racism on bus
The Norwegian People’s Aid in Bergen reacted strongly on the incident that occurred on a bus in Bergen January 17th. 30 asylum seekers from Vestlandsheimen refugee camp were left at the bus stop while a Norwegian passenger was allowed on board the bus. (February, 2002)
