Gunmen carjack Kenyan human rights activist’s driver
A top human rights watchdog official’s driver was carjacked moments after dropping off his boss. Mr Hassan Omar, right, the outspoken vice chairman of the Republic of Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, on Sunday said the hijackers were after him. The driver had just left Mr Omar at Kilimani at about 8.30 pm on Friday night and was heading to an Administration Police camp in Riruta to park the car when he was accosted by two armed men.
