Balkan youth sending message to the world

In advance of the muf-conference a seminar will be organized for ‘MUFerne’ and their supporters.

The objective of the conference is to create the political will to find a human solution to the muf-matter, and to strengthen and unify the broad involvement many already have in this matter.

The seminar will focus on both the hydropower resources in Turkish Kurdistan, exemplified by the controversial Illusudam project, and the management of oil resources after the 2005 constitution in Iraqi Kurdistan.

The Role of Youth in Peace Building Process

Throughout history, young people have always aspired to a better life. Previous generations dreamed of America. Today Europe is the great attraction. On 13 February photographer Rune Eraker’s exhibition The Dream of Europe opens at the Nobel Peace Center.

The campaign runs until the end of June.

Together with delegates from the Human Rights Center of Azerbaijan (HRCA), HRHF lobbies at the UN today and tomorrow in relation to Azerbaijan’s review session for the Universal Periodic Review. HRHF’s Geneva office has organised the lobbying with HRCA, who is also the Azeri partner of the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH).
