Main focus of the conference is the exchange of knowledge and experience in the areas related to broader corpus of peace building topics, such as conflicts, dealing with the past and peace-building itself.

In this context, the aim of the conference is to provide the  participants with the opportunity to initiate a dialogue among neighbouring and distant cultures and to discuss issues related to peace building and the role of youth in those processes, enhancing cooperation among organisations and NGOs as also to discuss and develop recommendations regarding this topic that would be advocated in national youth policies and strategies and European neighbouring policies and other broader policy strategies.

The conference is organized with partners Documenta – Centre for Dealing with the Past, Spanish Youth Council and Croatian Youth Network. Main donor for the conference is European Commission.
The conference targets at bringing young people (up to 35 years of age) from different origins/states (EUROMED, South East Europe and EU), coming from Youth Councils, youth organization/NGOs and/or organizations that perceive youth as their target group and act in the area of peace-building or related areas.
