The political prisoner Yury Rubtsou will spend two years in the colony
On 28 May, 2015 the political prisoner Yury Rubtsou was sentenced to two years imprisonment in a penal colony on charges of evasion of serving the initial sentence . Mr. Rubtsou was serving a sentence of 1.5 years of imprisonment in the open-type correctional facility for allegedly insulting the judge.

Controversy between Orthodox people and Jehovah Witnesses in Terjola
In March 2014, Jehovah Witnesses received permission from Terjola district administration to construct a royal hall.
