The “North Korean Holocaust Exhibition” will be held from November 8th through November 10, 2004, at the National Assembly Members Building in Yeoido, Seoul, Korea. This will be a powerfully dramatic depiction of the suffering of the North Korean people!  The exhibition will include hundreds of photos, letters, diaries, models, and artifacts by and from the refugees and NK people, which Mr. Moon,  and others risked their lives to collect over the past ten years.  (01-NOV-2004)

There will be a mega-sized (160cm by 320 cm) painting titled “Death and Despair” by a Korean-French artist, Oh Chun-yong, at the Exhibition.  Jim Butterworth and Lisa Sleeth graciously agreed to have their documentary film, “Seoul Train” shown at the Exhibition.  There will be full schedule of testimonies, lectures, and speeches during the three-day exhibition at the Auditorium in the same building.

North Korean Holocaust Exhibit to Include Special Panel Presentations and Discussions

The Citizens Alliance for North Korean Human Rights, the Democracy Network Against the North Korean Gulag, and Helping Hands Korea, will sponsor and moderate panels as part of the North Korea Holocaust Exhibit in Seoul.  Many other organizations will be contributing material for the exhibit as well as participating in these panels.

In addition to the numerous and powerful displays at the Exhibit depicting North Korea´s death camps, China´s detention centers, hunger, atrocities, and the plight of refugees,  panel discussions will be led by leading North Korea human right activists including Kim Sang Hun, Tim Peters and North Korean defectors themselves.

The organizers hope that many South Koreans will come to the exhibit and also take advantage of learning more by attending these panel discussions.
