FUTURE DOCS – a new project of the WATCH DOCS film festival for filmmakers and activists

FUTURE DOCS is a new European project of the WATCH DOCS IFF for documentarians and human rights defenders.

It is a platform for creative encounters of filmmakers, who are searching for inspiration, and activists, who from their experience are familiar not only with various human rights problems and initiatives but also compelling human stories behind them.

FUTURE DOCS intends to bring about new powerful documentaries with potential for tangible social impact. FUTURE DOCS is one of the 11 winners of “Advocate Europe” annual idea challenge for innovative European initiatives and projects, realised by MitOst e.V. and Liquid Democracy e.V., funded by Stiftung Mercator. European documentary filmmakers and human rights defenders who would like to participate in the project are invited to fill in the online application form on the FUTURE DOCS website: www.watchdocs.pl/futuredocs.
