HRHF expresses its concern re. recent harassment of homosexuals in BiH
The Human Rights House Foundation sent a letter today to the Prime Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Nikola Spiric, expressing its concern with the recent manifestations of intolerance against homosexuals in his country. The hate speech and incitements to violently attack the participants of the forthcoming first ever queer festival in BiH has so far been met by the authorities with silence. The year 2007 was in fact lost
Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina presented their Report on state of human rights in 2007. In the Report they underlined that the delays in implementation of reforms and repeated complication of political relations on ethnic grounds have been the main features of the previous year. Six years after deportation of the Algerian Group
Exactly six years’ ago, the Bosnian authorities at the time, extradited illegally the so-called “Algerian Group” to the US authorities. Since then, members of this group have been detained in the Guantanamo base prison. (18-JAN-08)

Too many Cases of war crimes unsolved
In his speach to the media, few days ago, the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Ambassador Douglas Davidson (right) is of the opinion that 12 years past the end of war in BiH, there are too many unsolved cases of war crimes. (26-DEC-07)
