Nina Pániková

Nina Pániková coordinates HRHF’s capacity building activities, ensuring that meaningful, empowering, and participatory capacity building activities underpin HRHF’s work and strengthen the Houses, the network and broader civil society. She coordinates HRHF’s EU-funded capacity building project “STRONG Civil Society” and designs tailored capacity building programmes. In her role, she often supports project sub-grantees and provides advice on the establishment process of new Houses.

Prior to joining HRHF in May 2021, Nina worked at the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions where she led capacity building activities and advocacy on economic and social rights and human rights defenders. She is a political scientist and holds a European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation. She started her career in the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights, worked for the EU Fundamental Rights Agency and trained national human rights institutions, civil society and students on human rights in Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
