EHAHRDP and Protection International security training
The Protection Desk Uganda(PDU), a collaborative initiative between the East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Project(EHAHRDP) and Protection International (PI), will be holding a two-day training in security management in Uganda on the 17th and 18th April.

HRHF in Azerbaijan
HRHF is in Azerbaijan preparing for the opening of a branch office in Baku. The opening is scheduled for 25 April.
HRHF in Kenya
HRHF visits Nairobi for meetings with old and new partners, particularly to discuss possible cooperation on Kenya’s forthcoming review process before the United nations’ Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review mechanism. Other possible projects and cooperation will also be discussed and further developed
HRHF in Uganda
HRHF goes to Uganda to participate in the East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Network’s all-African human rights defenders conference ‘Jo’burg + 10,’ taking stock of the current situation for human rights defenders on the continent, and assessing the impact of the 1998 Johannesburg Declaration.
HRHF in Georgia
HRHF visits Georgia to participate in a human rights defenders training focussing on security and protection. South Caucasian Network hosts the training. Experts from Frontline and Belarusian Assembly contribute. HRHF will also meet coordinators from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia to discuss and agree upon areas and modes of cooperation ahead.
