HRHF goes to Uganda to participate in the East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Network’s all-African human rights defenders conference ‘Jo’burg + 10,’ taking stock of the current situation for human rights defenders on the continent, and assessing the impact of the 1998 Johannesburg Declaration.

HRHF visits Georgia to participate in a human rights defenders training focussing on security and protection. South Caucasian Network hosts the training. Experts from Frontline and Belarusian Assembly contribute. HRHF will also meet coordinators from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia to discuss and agree upon areas and modes of cooperation ahead.
