| The Norwegian Helsinki Committee is grieving the tragic death of Tomasz Wacko. Tomasz, who was active in the opposition movement “ Solidarity“ in Poland in the 1980ies, settled in Norway in 1989 and has been working in the committee since 1991. The Norwegian Helsinki Committee will remember Tomasz with deep respect for his achievements in his efforts to promote human rights, for his important contribition to the development of our organization, and not least all he meant to everyone who worked with him. The funeral will take place from Askim Catholic Church on Friday June 13 at 13.00 h. | |
