Photo Exhibition in the Rafto House in Bergen

An exhibition of Nicolaza Hernandez’ photographs from ancient South American cultures will be held in the Egil Rafto Human Rights House in the period 5-16 May. At the opening of the exhibition on 5 May you may also listen to a lecture on the rights of indigenous people. (30 April, 2003)

The exhibition, which will be organized by the Rafto Foundation and “BIKS” includes photographs from the Maya-, Lencas- and Garifunas cultures. The opening is at 1200 on 5 May.

Building Resilience of Civil Society in Ukraine: Wellbeing as a Cornerstone of Sustainability

As Russia’s war in Ukraine continues, the resilience of those affected is tested daily. The psychological toll on the Ukrainian population is profound, with widespread reports of trauma, anxiety, and stress-related disorders. Ukrainian civil society organisations have mobilised to provide critical support to those in need while often needing support themselves.
