The Human Rights Monitoring Manual by Marek Nowicki and Zuzanna Fialova was translated to and published in Spanish. The publication was the result of the cooperation between Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights (HFHR) and Inter-American Institute of Human Rights, Costa Rica. The manual is about the monitoring of classical human rights, meaning civil and political rights. It can be used by non-governmental organizations especially of the “watch-dog” type, but it may also be useful to state bodies that maintain supervision over how the citizens’ rights are respected, such as the ombudsman’s office and the respective parliamentary committees. The manual was prepared by HFHR experts on human rights monitoring. Till now it was published in three languages: Polish, English and Russian.
