Now, journalist and author Ann-Magrit Austenå, secretary general of Norwegian Organisation for Asylum Seekers, has written a book on this debate, requesting a principled debate on what our politics on religion ought to be. What should be regulated by the state and what is private in this field?

To discuss this, a panel consisting of John Olav Egeland, Shoaib Sultan and Njål Høstmælingen has been invited to comment on Austenås introduction.

Admission is free. The debate will take place in the Amalie Skram room.
