HSUTI organizes this year 11th School for Managers of associations that deal with disability issues, on topic “With knowledge to betterment of life quality of persons with disability”

The program of this year’s school has a new methodological structure which was a decision of mr.med.sc. Mirjana Dobranovic, the president of the APEO, who started the idea of schools for managers. Ten years so far, the knowledge and skills have been transferring from state to local level. With 11th School starts new period of action – from local to state level.

Since HSUTI is one of the biggest alliances of associations of persons with disabilities in Croatia, with special focus on education on local level and investment in people’s personal and professional growth, it is expected to have 85 managers of local associations, that are members of HSUTI from throughout Croatia.

Taking into consideration the needs of managers of associations such as continuous education, achievement of such knowledge and skills that contribute to not only more efficient activity of local associations, but broader realization of the rights and adequate life quality of persons with disabilities, this year’s school will ensure for managers of associations, upgrade o already achieved knowledge and skills by presenting the examples of good practice on local level.

The School will be opened by Anka Sklonjsak, lawyer for persons with disabilities, and greeting speech during the welcome night, is expected to be traditionally held by the mayor of the city of Zagreb, Mr. Milan Bandic, followed by the performance of piano professor Ljerka Bjelinski.
