Human Rights Human Wrongs Documentary Film Festival

The third Human Rights Human Wrongs documentary film festival opens in Oslo Wednesday 2 February. Screening approximately 25 films, all properly introduced, made part of a thematic programme or in other ways set into a meaningful context, the festival lasts until Sunday 6 February. HRHF is part of the team behind the festival, and will host several guests during the five days it lasts.

Board Meeting of the Center

On the 23rd of December, 2010 Russian Research Center for Human Rights will hold a Board Meeting with the aim to consider an application of a newly registered trans-regional organization Center of Caucasian Initiative with the request to integrate the organization into the Center.

HRHF and FIDH organise joint mission to UN ahead of Georgia’s UPR

The two independent organisations Human Rights Center in Georgia and Georgian Young Lawyers Association go today to Geneva to meet various state delegations to lobby them to raise concerns among others about freedom of expression, assembly, and the rule of law in Georgia. This is part of the independent human rights sector’s preparations for Georgia’s UPR, scheduled for the 10th session, end of January 2011.
