The informational Internet-portal “Human Rights in Russia”, hro.org, became a winner of the III International Festival of the non-commercial Internet-projects in the nomination “Human rights activist”. We sincerely congratulate activists of HRO.org on their success! (02-APR-06)
The portal HRO.org has been developed by the Interregional group “Human rights network”, belonging to the Russian Research Center for Human Rights. Organizations and private persons, who had non-commercial Internet-projects, participated in the festival organized with the help of UNESCO – there were more than 100 000 persons from 80 regions of the Russian Federation and 40 countries from all over the world. The aim of the Festival consists of developing an independent non-commercial sector in Internet and popularization of the informational technologies. HRO.org has become a leader once again!
