To Tibet activists and freedom of expression campaigners worldwide, Tsering Woeser is a well known name. In March 2008, her husband Wang Lixiong, left, visited the Human Rights House in Oslo to receive the Norwegian Author´s Association´s Freedom of Expression award for 2007, on his wife´s behalf.
