The General Secretary of NHC, Bjørn Engesland, was in Bishkek this week to attend the court case. Engesland: “We are very happy and relieved about the outcome of this case. We hope this will mean that the process of registration will go faster and that we soon can re-open our office in Kyrgyzstan and start working again.”

On Thursday last week a letter was sent to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Interior by a coalition of in total 24 organisations, all members of the Human Rights House Network to protest against the court case and the registration process.
