The Citizens’ Labor Rights Protection League implements the project “Monitoring of Social-Economical Rights in Azerbaijan and Organization of Campaigns”. As a project result, there was prepared the final Report, the preparation of which was based on the application of different monitoring tools. The chairman of CLRPL Sahib Mamedov (on the right), emphasized the importance and necessity of the project realization. (17-MAR-07)

The project, financed by USAID and Eurasia Foundation, started in September 2006.

 

Monitoring tools
The project used the following monitoring tools:
– comparative analysis of international norms related to labor rights
– sociological survey
– collection of statistical information
– analysis of labor rights violations
– organization of non-structuralized interviews with experts
– visits to pilot institutions
– media analysis

 

Objects
The Monitoring targeted such objects as labor contracts, collective contracts, payment for labor, protection of labor and health, work regime, vacation regime, vacations, collective labor disputes and the pactice on their solution, individual labor disputes and practice on their solution, gender situation on labor sphere, discrimination, mutual financial responsibility of the parties of labor contacts, etc.
