Aiming for improvement of the tolerance, dialog and equality  in our society, Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Macedonia encourages public support of the second March for Tolerance on the 16th of November, which starts in 11.55h in front of the Museum of the City of Skopje, and with whom we want to celebrate the International Day for Tolerance, established by the United Nations.

Following the events and trends on the political and societal scene in the Republic of Macedonia and the region, on the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance, HCHR takes this opportunity to alarm the public on the rising tensions between political actors in the country.

”We appeal for political tolerance and constructive dialogue amongst all who are creators of the public policies, opinion and values. We appeal for interethnic tolerance and respect for ethnic, cultural, and religious diversity. We appeal for tolerance and decisive measures to put an end to discrimination on the basis of disability, religious, social, political or racial background, on the basis of sex, gender identity and expression, and sexual orientation or any other ground”, it is stated from HCHR of the Republic of Macedonia.
