Carol Ann will read her poetry, including several new poems, with jazz musician John Sampson and her selection will be published in a limited edition by Faber & Faber presented to each member of the audience on the night.
She will also announce the name of the international winner of the prize who for the first time in the history of the Prize, will be appearing on the night.
The PEN/Pinter prize is awarded annually to a British writer or a writer resident in Britain of outstanding literary merit, who, in the opinion of the judges, exemplifies the spirit of Harold Pinter through his or her engagement with the world today.
The prize is shared with an international writer of courage chosen by the British winner and whose name is revealed on the night of the award.
