The human rights situation in Crimea has seriously deteriorated since the occupation by the Russian Federation. Russian-installed authorities have conducted a severe crackdown on civil society and political opponents. Russia has imposed its laws and justice system on the peninsula, and restrictions on public demonstrations, civil society organisations, the media, and others are routine.
Please note that UN accreditation is required in order to attend.
