Appeal to the Norwegian Government and International Families to Take Action Gravely on the Violence against the People in Burma

The people of Burma including 88-generation students, democracy and human rights activists and the demonstrators that urge to solve the economic crisis are being crushed by the ruling military junta as the world knew.

Burma is trying secretly the United Nations and the world countries that respect the rights not to involve in Burma affairs like taking benefit grudges between the People´s Republic of China and India, in order to build natural gas station, sea port, military base, to relief of their difficulties of crowd of population and to relocate to Burma alike enticement of economy factors, as a member in the ASEAN, using the People´s Republic of China and the Russian Federation, the countries showing of important role in political atmosphere as against democratic and economic developed countries.

Furthermore, military regime is trying to hold power all the time. So they are making long term imprisonment to Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other political leaders, 88-generation students, and young activists. Moreover annoying and destroying the economy and social affair of opposition activists in various ways, and giving money to the poor people who are forced to involve in the attacks. The peoples who participating in the National Convention are forced to accept the principal-they-drew.

The government is unable to solve the problems — the upside-down of economic policies, military expenses, bad moral behavior, requiring budget, raising fuel price, the inflation became more and more high, even daily household expenses. So the people who are demonstrating peacefully are destroyed by the regime using United Solidarity and Developed Association and other pro-regime group, like arresting brutally the demonstrators, saying rude words to the supporting people, pouring alcohol into the mouths and making humiliated to the female demonstrators.

They make good use of an opportunity International Laws, the weak of the United Nations, using existing laws in Burma promulgate, using the benefits laws and policies of the world, the losing of the 51 million populations in Burma without resolving these problems in Burma, we, the Campaign Committee for Burma (Norway) (CCBN) would like to express our sorry gravely. The bad totalitarianism is like a kind of virus we creed. Today Burmese junta is deceiving, cheating, foiling and causing the United Nations and the democratic western world. And the junta is trying more and more seriously and distribute to the rest world that should take care. The Pro-Democracy Uprising in 1988 is affected to the world of authoritarian. Likewise it, of not solving the problems quickly of the existing problems in Burma in 2007, the problems would become more worse than ever one day, and the virus would spread to your country one day that we would like to express here.

For the reason express above, we, the Campaign Committee for Burma (Norway) (CCBN) is gravely ask the countries that respect democracy and human rights in the world including Norway, please use the ways directly as our own country that it is time to take reasonable action to change quickly in Burma and in order to cover the activists, to release of political prisoners including Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, plus to hand over to the nation power to the elected Parliamentary Members elected in the1990 Multi-party General Elections.
