After almost a year of intensive efforts, the Human Rights House in Baku passed the registration at the Ministry of Justice on the 25-th of May 2007. The HRH Baku was registered as a branch of Human Rights House Foundation in Azerbaijan Republic. (08-July-2007)

The information about registration and the certificate from the Ministry of Justice was received only on the 7-th of July 2007, i.e. 40 days after the decision of the Commission.

The lawyer of the HRH Baku Irada Javadova (right) was closely engaged in the process of registration. She evaluated this year’s process complicated, but worth waiting and emphasized the importance of the registration for the sustainable activity of the House.

The information on the registration of the Human Rights House in Baku was very pleasant news for all the national and international actors, engaged in human rights. There were received dozens of congratulations from the representatives of diplomatic corps, international organizations, state agencies, national parliaments, mass media of Austria, Canada, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Moldova, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, USA.

The human rights activists, politicians and media representatives of Azerbaijan also sent their congratulations and inspiring wishes to the HRH Baku in further successes.
