Announced “anti-recessive measures” will be additional burden for financial situation of majority of citizens in RH, and such fact frightens people and makes them feel insecure.
CMS has been, for quite some time now, warning the Government that it should define its security and public policy through understanding of human security.
In so far actions of the Government, CMS notices that most savings were done in the education sector, then health, salary policies etc. While it should be considered to make those savings in the Ministry of Defense RH or in so called, capital projects that are indeed, important for the long-term development of the country, but cannot be more important than people.
Therefore, CMS appeals to Government to define its saving priorities in a way to as less as possible, jeopardize primary needs of citizens in RH, so they could live without fear. It is ironic that not a year after accession of RH in NATO, that promised great security, Croatian citizens do not feel any more secure than they have felt in past 10 years.
