The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights submitted a “Replies to the list of issues” (right) to the Committee regarding the presence of racial discrimination in Poland. The three main issues addressed in the report, referencing Articles 2, 4, and 5 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (also right), are: the lack of protection of minority rights in Poland, the lack of persecution by the Government for racist and anti-Semitic publications and broadcasting, and the lack of comprehensive anti-discrimination laws or the implementation thereof.

The Committee will publish its concluding observations at the end of its session in late August.
