The Norwegian Council for the Rights of the Kurds (RKR) invites everyone interested to four different seminars, all to be hosted at different venues around Oslo next week, under the joint headline ´The Oslo Conference on Peace, Democracy and Human Rights in the Middle East´. Kurdish girls.jpgThe first of the four seminars – on democracy – takes place at the University of Oslo, in aditorium 1 at the University Library at Blindern campus, on Tuesday 11 December. The seminar will be held in English, with translation to Kurdish available. Commencing at 09:00, the seminar runs until 15:30, only interrupted by lunch between 12:00 and 13:00. The second seminar – on Turkey´s human rights challenges – will be hosted at the Human Rights House in Tordenskioldsgate 6 b downtown Oslo, on Wednesday 12 December. The seminar will be held in English. It begins at 10:00 and runs until approximately 16:00. To read more, click here .

The third seminar – on Kirkuk – also to be hosted at the Human Rights House in Oslo, also on Wednesday 12 December, starts at 16:00 and runs until approximately 19:30. It will be held in Kurdish, but with translation to English and Norwegian available. To read more, click here .
