The regular Annual Assembly of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina was held at the hall of Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Saturday, February 12, 2005.

The Assembly adopted the reports from 2004, planned documents for 2005 as well as the new management of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the next two years – president, managing board and superior council.

Strategy of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the period 2005 – 2010
, has been adopted. The Strategy lay emphasis on the strengthening of the rule of law, compliance with the international standards, education and dissemination of information on human rights, and provision of special protection to the vulnerable groups of citizens, children, women, victims of human trafficking, families of missing persons, people with disabilities, victims of domestic violence, disabled veterans and civilian victims of war, elderly people and pensioners, gender minorities and members of national, ethnic and religious minority groups. 

The Assembly has elected Srdjan Dizdarevic for the new President of the Helsinki Committee.

Elected members of the new Managing Board are: Zivica Abadzic, Jasmina Ivosevic, Kenan Keserovic, Sinan Alic, Senka Nozica, Zeljko Ivankovic i Srdjan Dizdarevic.

Members of the Superior council for the next two years are: Nermin Handzic, Vladimir Mitrovic and Enver Murgic.
