REPRESSION AND IMPRISONMENT IN AZERBAIJAN

Our protest on 12 June is taking place on the day of the opening in Baku of the first European Olympic Games, hosted by Azerbaijan. We will be calling for the release of detained human rights defenders, journalists and activists, and for the end of the repression against civil society.

Concerns about responses by state authorities to the global COVID-19 crisis

The network of Human Rights Houses is concerned by recent actions on the part of state authorities across western and eastern Europe, the western Balkans, and the Caucasus in response to the escalating COVID-19 crisis.
