Football Fan Club ”Bijeli andjeli” (White Angels) and the Center for Peace Studies – CMS, within FARE – week of fight against racism in football, are organizing the debate: “The social responsibility of football fans” which will be held on Friday, the 22nd October 2010, at 18:00 in the Human Rights House of Zagreb.

The discussion / debate will try to encourage and provide answers to the questions: What is the nature of messages that are being sent from the stands in Croatia? What is the situation in Europe? Who is all responsible for the message from the stands? How to work on the prevention of violent behavior on the stands? In what way are we to act against the negative effects that such messages have among young people?

The speakers are:
Marko Ciprijanovic, president of the White Angels, Association of football supporters of club Zagreb;
Daniela Wurbs, the main coordinator of the European coordination of football fans;
Michal Riecansky, the federation of football fans;
Marko Simunkovic, President of the Association of young anti-fascists Zagreb;
Gordan Bosanac, Centre for Peace Studies, moderator.
