A presenter for the TV channel “Dozhd”, a columnist for “Snob” and “GQ” magazines, a screenwriter for “Prozhektorperiskhilton” Sasha Filipenko is once again proves to be a gifted writer. Sasha’s first two novels – “Former Son” (the description of the Minsk’s post-Soviet coma on the cusp of centuries) and “Intentions” (the story about sad clowns) – have brought him fame in literature circles.
In the new third novel Alexander touches upon the topic of everyday reality of the Russian society.
During the event in Vilnius the audience will have a chance to discuss with the author in person the unbearable difficulties for the life of an independent journalist in Russia today, the power and the “banal evil”, football, music and women.
The event will be held on Wednesday, 4 May, at 18:00 in the Barys Zvozskau Belarusian Human Rights House, Latako g. 3.
