The HRHA is the branch of the Human Rights House Foundation in Baku, registered in 2007. It is a part of the international network of Human Rights Houses, www.humanrightshouse.org, and is supported financially by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Foundation Fritt Ord.
The HRHA is a resource centre for the human rights community in the Republic of Azerbaijan, with technical and organizational facilities available.
As the Coordinating Manager, your tasks will be manifold. You will be in charge of the daily operations of the HRHA from the middle of September 2010 and report to the HRHF on a regular basis and to the Azerbaijani authorities. You will facilitate seminars, round tables and press conferences, as well as coordinate the strengthening of networking, information, promotion and additional fundraising. Some travelling abroad may be required.
As the Coordinating manager, you should have the following qualifications:
· higher education or relevant working experience in the field
· experience with project management
· experience with financial and narrative reporting
· ability to make practical and logistic work
· excellent coordination and communication skills
· excellent English and Azerbaijani language skills
· will and ability for cooperation and networking
· work experience, preferably from a non-governmental or international organisation
· knowledge of the third sector in Azerbaijan
We would like the Coordinating Manager to start in the middle of September 2010. Net salary is set up to 750 AZN per month depending on prior work experience. Working conditions will be open for discussion.
