Maria Dahle is the Director of Human Rights House Foundation. She leads the organisation in its vision and values, in developing and achieving strategic priorities, in operations, and in fundraising efforts. She represents the organisation to decision-makers, partners, the public, the media, and donors. As an ambassador for HRHF, she builds partnerships and coalitions to strengthen human rights work.

She brings to the organisation more than 20 years of experience in leadership and social entrepreneurship in international human rights work. She has been instrumental in building the organisation and in connecting and supporting the network of Human Rights Houses.

Maria is the deputy chair of the “Prague Civil Society Center” and has been instrumental in the creation of national platforms like “Dugnad’98” (1994-98) and the film festival “Human Rights Human Wrongs” in Oslo (2008-2013). Maria Dahle has MSc Degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration in Bergen and has at the start of her career professional experience as a journalist (Finansavisen) and theatre instructor (Nordland Fylkeskommune).
