Responsibilities: Establishing supporting and connecting Human Rights Houses, House to House, Institution network and capacity building, Organisational Development, Spokesperson

I am a strong believer that even a small group of people united by a shared vision and driven by the same values have the power to change the world. It is the courageous and inspiring people within the network of Human Rights Houses that turn individual struggles for respect of human rights into a powerful movement.

Daiva leads Human Rights House Foundation’s works to support and develop and connect Human Rights Houses and their member organisations. She also works with groups of NGOs seeking to establish new Houses in their own country. Daiva is responsible for direct support to Human Rights Houses, including organisational development and capacity building, and for projects to strengthen cooperation among Human Rights Houses and members of Human Rights Houses.

Daiva joined HRHF in 2008 and, prior to becoming the Head of House Development and Support, she worked for six years to strengthen administration, fundraising, good governance and organisational development at HRHF and across the network of Human Rights Houses as the Administration and Fundraising manager. Before joining HRHF, Daiva worked at the Lithuanian Embassy to Norway and at a media monitoring company in Lithuania. Daiva has a double MSc Degree in International Management, specialising in strategy, from ISM University of Management and Economics in Lithuania and BI Norwegian Business School.
