Croatia – Human Rights House in Zagreb

At the end of 2008 the City of Zagreb donated a building for the Human Rights House in Zagreb. On the last days of the year the House was registered. After the reconstruction of the building, the organisations are expected to move to the new premises in July 2009.

Croatian authorities continuously violate the freedom of assembly

Around 140 citizens of the city of Zagreb in Croatia, were recently arrested during the peaceful demonstration in Varsavska Street. These arrests and police interventions continuously happen ever since the protests have started, which represents cruel violations of the freedom to peaceful assembly. Vego: Anti-discrimination is not a law, it's a way of life

Center for Peace Studies - CMS took part in drafting the Act on Elimination of Discrimination in the Republic of Croatia – ZDS. Legal experts in Croatia, evaluated the law itself as passable, but had remarks to make on the shortcomings of certain parts and provisions of the Act. Unemployed women with disabilities more susceptible to diseases

Right of access to information violated in Croatia
