HRH in Uganda
The Human Rights House project in Kampala was conceived in 2002-2003. Its aim is to bring together in one location a selection of key human rights organisations. So far, the nine organisations working together to establish the HRH Uganda have not achieved their goal, but continue to work together as a virtual house on issues including torture, legal aid, women, children and environmental rights. The Uganda HRH project is managed by an Interim Board and is currently housed at Human Rights Network - Uganda.
