Election aftermath: Call to stop violence and release the detained

Online petition calling for respect of human rights

On the International Human Rights Day, 10 December, 12 international civic and human rights organisations start a joint online petition at www.belarus-petition.org. The participants of the conference “Human Rights: Between Law and Morals” and partner organisations of the project “Electronic Human Rights Education for Lawyers”, issued a letter of concern today regarding the criminal prosecution of lawyer and journalist Nadezhda Nizovkina and lawyer Tatiana Stetsura.
