Annual HRHN meetings
Members of the Human Rights House Network meet once a year to adopt strategic HRHN documents, discuss further HRHN development, share their knowledge and experience and create new joint projects. Each year, the Human Rights House Network holds an international human rights conference on the most urgent human rights issues of the time.
Conference in Vilnius 2010
On 24 September, an open Human Rights Conference is organized in Vilnius, Lithuania, to draw attention to the situation of the human rights defenders and human rights trends identified in Belarus and the Baltic region. »
Conference in Nairobi, 2007
Conference CIVIL SOCIETIES AT A CROSSROAD: “Sustaining Human Rights Organisations in the East and Horn of Africa” took place in Nairobi, Kenya. It was attended by over 100 delegates, out of which 50 grassroots human rights defenders from the various districts in Kenya were also present. »
Conference in Zagreb, 2006
The Human Rights House Network has now held its annual meeting in Zagreb. The meeting was dedicated to our common vision, strategies and programs as a result of the evaluation process that the Network has finalized this autumn. The representatives from the Balkans, Caucasus, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and the United Kingdom cooperated in order to re-defining our regional programs in accordance with the Network's general vision and strategies. »
Conference in Baku, 2005
The Azeri authorities must stop its harassment of independent journalists, political activists and human rights defenders. This is the message in a statement signed by activists from established and emerging Human Rights Houses in ten countries, as well as the OSCE, the Swedish Helsinki Committee, and the International Service for Human Rights (ISHR) that co-hosted a conference 7-10 September 2005 in Baku, Azerbaijan. Conference in Oslo, 2004
Conference "Activists Under Attack: Defending the Right to be a Human Rights Defender" took place in Oslo and focused on how security and working conditions of human rights defenders have worsened in recent years. The conference marked the 10th anniversary of the Human Rights House Network. »
