The Mission of the Embassy - Megjashi stands for honouring children’s personality through the protection of their rights, and through the enrichment of their life with activities that make childhood secure and fruitful. It also strengthens the NGO movement for protection of children rights in the Republic of Macedonia through implementing the Convention for children’s rights.

The Embassy Megjashi is  member of many domestic and international networks and movements such as: Civil Platform of Macedonia, Global March Against Child Labour, Defence for Children International, Child Right’s Information Network, Child Helpline International, Macedonian Center for International Cooperation,  International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN)   NGO Group for the Covention on the Rights of the Child, World Fund for Dignity of Children,  and other.

Field of Activity: Protection and development of Children’s Rights

Global Activities of the Embassy is protection of children from any form of violence against their rights, protection of children in war and as well as in ethnic, race and religious conflicts, take care for children without parents after they leave the orphanage or the foster-family and child refugees, including children in education, fight against poverty and sexual abuse,  fight against the worst forms of child labor, against pedophilia, child pornography and prostitution.

Part of the Charter of the First Children's Embassy in the World-Megjashi, Republic of Macedonia: "Altough it is the smallest and youngest country in the world, first children's country in the world Megjashi will not be defended by army, police and custom and this territory is proclaimed free and open territory for the whole world. First children's country has no boundaries because ''there where a world with boundaries starts, childhood stops''.
