Image: Human Rights House FoundationA human rights house is a working community of human rights organisations. Its purpose is to strengthen cooperation between human rights defenders, increase security, reduce costs, and make the organisations able to help the victims of human rights violations in a better and more efficient way.

Universal human rights have become widely accepted as the moral and ethical foundation of human co-existence, regardless of race, religion or political beliefs. Human rights defenders worldwide continue to be harassed and persecuted. Further, they often lack adequate funding and working facilities. A human rights house can provide a solution to such problems.
